Notorious VDC is a Virtual Design and Construction consulting firm. We offer precision, clarity, and control in complex construction environments. Most of what we do is done behind the scenes, and on our screens. We can understand a building inside and out before ever stepping foot on site. On the other hand, we’re not afraid to get our boots dirty and bring our expertise to the field. We bridge the gap between design and construction, translating design intent into constructible, clash-free models that teams can actually build from. We’re not a traditional BIM support function, we’re problem-solvers, and communicators of essential information. We serve as an extension of project teams, bringing structure, accountability, and technical rigor to coordination workflows.
what we do
IDENTIFY
We proactively identify coordination risks before they impact the field. This starts with building or refining detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP&F trades, ensuring all scopes are accurately represented. Through structured clash detection and model reviews, we expose spatial conflicts, hard clashes, access issues, and constructability concerns early. We give the project team full visibility into potential problems before installation begins.
INVESTIGATE
Once issues are identified, we go beyond surface-level clashes to understand the root cause. We analyze system routing, trade priorities, installation sequencing, and real-world constraints to determine the most practical path forward. This includes coordinating directly with other trades, evaluating multiple solutions, and reviewing with design teams. We ensure that resolutions are not just technically correct, but actually buildable in the field.
IMPLEMENT
We drive issues through to resolution by coordinating updates within the model and aligning all trades around agreed-upon solutions. This includes updating models, validating clearances, and ensuring changes are reflected across all relevant systems. We represent your scope in coordination meetings, track progress, and confirm that all issues are resolved. Once sign-off is complete, our team delivers coordinated, field-ready drawings that supports efficient installation and minimizes rework.

We serve general contractors, trade contractors, and design teams working on complex commercial, institutional, and healthcare projects where coordination directly impacts schedule and cost. Our primary partners are GCs who require VDC leadership and coordination management capable of integrating seamlessly into project workflows and elevating the quality of model-based decision-making across the entire job. We also support mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and site utility contractors who need dedicated VDC support to represent their scope accurately for reliable, detail-oriented coordination.
